Sycamore Bark Park opened its gates on April 19, 2009 and has been a huge success. It is the first dog park in Putnam County.  The park is a little over ½ acre with a sloped terrain and plenty of shade.  This long awaited dog park features separate areas for small and large dogs with 6 foot fences, waste stations, a water fountain for humans and dogs, a hose, play tubes, a non-working fire hydrant and benches. It resides within Sycamore Park, a beautiful 41-acre park offering activities and programs for every member of the family, and now for the furry members of the family as well. Bring your dog by and let them experience some off leash time!
