>> The water has been turned back on! Please use conservatively! Remember to turn off the hose after use and refrain from washing containers out in the fountain as the debris clogs the drains. DO NOT allow children to play with the hose!

>> The park has requested that dogs remain leashed when outside the dog park and are prohibited on the baseball fields due to the damage to the turf and the abundant amounts of orphaned piles.

>> REMINDER! The park is closed after sundown! Anyone found in the park after dark may be fined or ticketed. Smoking is also now prohibited in town parks and violators may be fined.

COME PLAY WITH US!

Sycamore Bark Park opened its gates on April 19, 2009 and has been a huge success. It is the first dog park in Putnam County.  The park is a little over ½ acre with a sloped terrain and plenty of shade.  This long awaited dog park features separate areas for small and large dogs with 6 foot fences, waste stations, a water fountain for humans and dogs, a hose, play tubes, a non-working fire hydrant and benches, and is open to residents and non-residents alike. It resides within Sycamore Park, a beautiful 41-acre park offering activities and programs for every member of the family, resident and non-resident, and now for the furry members of the family as well. Bring your dog by and let them experience some off leash time!
